These are preliminary performance predictions, which are based upon half load conditions, and are subject to change depending upon the final weight of the vessel. Naturally, it must be understood that each model when fully loaded will attain lower speeds, and that speed will increase as fuel, water and stores are used. However, it is rare that one runs at full throttle when fully loaded and heading out for an extended voyage. Range will be greatly increased at mid range speeds and for the weekender or short-range cruiser; it is not always necessary to travel with full fuel and water tanks.
